Paychecks not Foot Stamps

Newt Gingrich schools Juan Williams during the South Carolina debate about the importance of working over dependence on government.  The audience gave Newt a standing ovation for his resounding defence of the importance of work for one's character and self fulfillment.

DONT TRUST ANY OF THEM, POLITICANS DO WHAT EVER THEY WANT AT THEIR DISCREATION, AND AT THE END THE PEOPLE GET LEFT BEHIND. I AGREEE ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE ON FOOD STAMPS, SOME PEOPLE NEED IT , SOME PEOPLE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE SYSTEM. WE JUST CAN'T BLAME ONE PERSON, I HATE HOW THESE BIG COMPANIES CAN ACT LIKE A KID IN A CANDY SHOP , AND THE GOVERNMENT KEPPS GIVING THEM AN ALLOWANCE. ALOT OF PEOPLE IN THIS COUNTRY WOULD BE ABLE TO GET A BAIL OUT OR A NEW START, WHAT MAKES ME SAD IS HOW PEOPLE OUR COUNTRY , EVEN ALL OTHER COUNTRIES SEEM TO FORGET WE ARE NOT IMMORTALS, MONEY , WARS , AT THE END IT DOESN'T MATTER , SO WE SHOULD TAKE CARE OF EACH OTHER AND DO WHATS RIGHT TO HELP EACH ONE OF US REACH THE TOP ,SO WE ALL ENJOY OUR LIFES. RIGHT NOW THE WAY I SEE IT, NOBODY IN POLITICS REALLY CARES, I CAN VOTE BUT I DONT SEE THE TRUTH UNTIL AFTER THEIR IN OFFICE , SAD REALITY!!!

If Romney claims to have created thousands of jobs during his tenure with Bain Capital. Maybe yes, maybe no. But my question is this. After Romney left Bain Capital with a small fortune and has enjoyed the rewards for years and years after from the millions of dollars in capital gains compensation, how many jobs has he created during the time after he left Bain Capital? The theory of "trickle down economy" is that the rich create the majority of the jobs and therefore should pay fewer taxes. But, if after the one percent become wealthy, and then just have all of this money for their personal enjoyment, how come they produce so few jobs? Did they get tired after creating all of those jobs? I don't see much trickling down from these guys.
